History:
Founded in 1717 in Uonuma, Niigata, one of Japan’s snowiest regions, Aoki Shuzo has been crafting sake for over 300 years. Their signature label, KAKUREI, reflects the quiet strength of the snow country and the artistry of the Echigo Toji master brewers. While Niigata is known for its crisp, dry Tanrei-Karakuchi style, they pursue Tanrei-Umakuchi, a balance of refined clarity and the rich umami of sake rice. Three centuries of craft, carried forward for the next hundred years.
Ingredients:
Rice, water, yeast, koji

Serving Instructions:
Serve chilled or lightly chilled.

All sake is final sale.

All alcohol shipments require an adult signature. Please ship your package to a location where someone over 21 can sign for it.

We are not responsible for heat-related issues, and we do not offer ice packs because melting ice packs can compromise the integrity of cardboard boxes in transit, risking damage to your package. Please consider the weather when placing your order, especially during the summer.
